Visit the Royal Palace of Caserta
Arrive in Caserta to visit the splendid Reggia di Caserta, one of the largest and most fascinating royal residences in Europe. The palace is an architectural masterpiece designed by Luigi Vanvitelli at the behest of Charles of Bourbon, King of Naples, in the 18th century. Here you can visit:
The Royal Palace
The Royal Palace of Caserta is famous for its colossal size: the palace has a rectangular plan with 5 floors, more than 1,200 rooms and an incredible length of about 250 meters. Inside, you can visit the royal halls, decorated with gilded stucco, frescoes, tapestries and sculptures, reflecting the pomp and power of the Bourbon monarchy. The Throne Room and the Hall of the Stuccoes are among the most striking rooms.
The Royal Park
The garden of the Reggia covers about 120 hectares and is one of the most beautiful examples of Italian gardens. As you stroll through the avenues, you can admire monumental fountains, statues, well-tended flower beds and water features that frame the grandeur of the building. One of the park's best-known attractions is the Fountain of Diana and Actaeon, which is located at the end of a long avenue. In addition, there are groves, ponds, and a large English garden.
The Belvedere of San Leucio
Not far from the Reggia, the Belvedere of San Leucio is well worth a visit. A colony of silk workers wanted by Charles of Bourbon was located here, and it is possible to visit the Silk Museums and the Belvedere House, which offers spectacular views of the Reggia and the surrounding park.
Reggia di Caserta → Naples
Lunch Break
Upon arriving in Naples, stop at a traditional trattoria nearby to enjoy a authentic lunch or taste the famous Pizza Napoletana. (Our driver will be happy to point you to an excellent traditional restaurant where you can enjoy your lunch break.)
Naples, Piazza Municipio

Here, you will get your first glimpse of historic Naples and its charm. You can take some photos and soak in the lively atmosphere of the square.
